Lawrence Bishnoi Threat: Independent MP from Purnia, Bihar, Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav has sought ‘Z’ security from Union Home Minister Amit Shah after allegedly receiving death threats from a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. At present he has got ‘Y’ category security. Expressing concern for his safety, Pappu Yadav has demanded immediate security in his petition.
Amidst all this, a video of Pappu Yadav is going viral on social media, in which he is seen crying. Regarding this, it is being claimed that he started crying after the alleged threat he received from Lawrence Bishnoi. The user who shared this video has claimed that Pappu Yadav was beaten up after challenging gangster Lawrence.
What is the truth of this video?
The Lallantop’s investigation revealed that a similar video was uploaded on a YouTube channel named Live Cities on September 6, 2018, which is being shared and made viral. In this video Pappu Yadav says, “I called SP, IG and CM and no one picked up the phone. When CM’s PA picked up the phone, I told him that I cannot tell how he was killed.” Saying this he starts crying.

Lawrence had talked about eliminating Bishnoi gang on social media.
After investigating it, it was found that this video is not recent but is 6 years old. Earlier, Pappu Yadav had made a post on social media targeting X and had said that if the law gives him a chance, he will wipe out Lawrence’s gang in 24 hours. Since then he has been in the headlines and now he allegedly received a threatening call, after which he has demanded to increase security.
